Vishesh Anand (b. 1997) is an Indore/Mumbai-based photographer. His practice is informed by conceptual ideas around change: lost histories, moving narratives, and the intimacy of nearness and distances.
Anand employs image-making as a subjective medium to understand the intricacies of his material world. Operating within a documentary framework, his work challenges the divergence between reality, history, and narrative. Using objects, texts, and found materials, he merges fact, fiction, and imagination, prompting reflection on the construction and representation of reality.
